GRATEFUL!

I'm so GRATEFUL FOR MY MANY BLESSINGS that the Lord had blessed me with because without him, I wouldn't have what I have! It sometimes takes me aback when I realize of the one important decision I made at 17, how it truly had changed my life forever. I'm eternally grateful for those missionaries, who taught me the truth that I have been searching for so long. And because of that truth, my life is completely different and I'm so grateful for that.

I'm grateful for MY HUSBAND, who have taught me what love between a man and woman truly is.He's my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without him. I'm also grateful for the great father he is to our children. I thank my Heavenly Father every night for bringing him into my life and being my husband.
I'm eternally grateful in BEING A MOTHER! I've been blessed with three beautiful children, who are my heart. They helped me rediscovered the wonders the world has to offers us and the beauty of a smile, hug and a kiss.
I'm grateful for THE TEMPLE and the covenants I made. This is the only place in the world that I can truly be at peace and away from the world and because of those covenants I have made, I can have an "Eternal Family" with my husband and children.
I'm grateful for MY MOM! She was my first friend, my hero, my strength and example. She taught me unconditional love and the love of a mother. She's a great grandmother too and I'm grateful that Heavenly Father chose her for my mother.
I'm grateful for SISTERS! I'm the oldest and helped raise most of them and I'm very proud of what beautiful and special women they have become. I can always depend on them, no matter what!

I'm grateful for FRIENDS! I've been truly lucky to have good friends that I can always relied on. These are friends that I can be truly myself. I have great friends, that it doesn't matter the distance we are separated by and we many not see each other often but I always know they're only a phone call away. And when we do meet, the years just melt away. I also have friends that I can rely on to get out and have a blast on "Girl's Night Out"! I been blessed with good friends.

I'm grateful for HULA! This is the one thing I do just for myself and I'm good at it. I'm with a wonderful Troupe that have become my hula family... these are wonderful ladies that we meet every week to sweat out and show our appreciation for the Hawaiian culture.

I'm grateful for being a VISITING TEACHER! Being a visiting teacher has taught me so much about service and compassion. This sweet sister has taught me so much and I'm grateful that I'm her teacher and friend.

I'm eternally grateful for JESUS CHRIST and his atonement. He paved the way, so I can return one day back to my Heavenly Father.

Tis the Season for Traditions!

Traditions are some of the most memorable and precious moments in our lives...especially putting up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. My kids loves rediscovering the ornaments and decorations while listening to Christmas music...they don't like the clean up after but who does!  We truly love getting the house ready for the holidays!

Christmas is so much fun when you have kids to remind you of the spirit of the Holidays!

Girls Just Gotta Have Fun...

Girls Just Gotta Have Fun....even if it's to see "New Moon"!!!! It was the Ultimate Girl's Night Out!!! We decided to make it a dinner and movie night and we had a BLAST!  We ate good food but it was being with friends that make it better....bring seven women together for dinner and WOW...I couldn't stop laughing!

We headed to the movie and my goodness the line was long with teenage kids and some older and beautiful women like us waiting to get our seat. To pass the time, I took some photos(with I discover somehow my flash on my camera has been turned off and it took me a while to figure it out and I just was able to fix it on one setting but anyway....)

Then I had fun taking fun photos of myself and Lindsey and there's some funny ones because I didn't realize it was on zoom and I was getting double chins....

and Lindsey couldn't stop laughing!

Finally a good photo and then the movie began and it was GREAT especially because I went with some awesome women...didn't get home until 1:30am and I felt the affects that morning but it was WORTH it!

And Now It Begins......

Mother Nature decided to grace us with snow and not just a trace! Don't get me wrong, I do love the snow it's that I'm not ready for it and my city has MAJOR ISSUES with plowing the roads! Last winter the plow came to our neighborhood only three times and the streets were a mess! Anyway, it is sure pretty to see my backyard becoming a winter wonderland and the kids love it. My kids reminded me how fun and special snow is and here are some photos of them returning home from school in the snowfall.

Halloween Fun!

I love Halloween as much as the kids and I love getting into the spirit of it! The costumes and the decorations are so much FUN! We had so much fun decorating our pumpkins...so much cleaner this way. We celebrated Halloween at our friend's house and had a Blast at the PARTY! Then we went Trick or Treating and came home with too much candy and we are all on a SUGAR HIGH but hey it's all for the spirit of HALLOWEEN!

Halloween Parade and Parties

Preparing for Halloween is one holiday I truly enjoy especially when you have kids...you really get to go all out. We first start with Mya's Preschool Parade...it was so cute and they sang some spooky songs too.
School also has fun Halloween parties and the boys had a great time even though this year, because Isaac is in the 4th grade, in his school, grades 4th to 6th don't get to put their costumes on at all! Dumb!!!! Why would they think it's okay from Kindergarten to third but not the rest of the grades...haaaa!

We also went to a Costume Halloween Party at my friend Megan's house and we had a blast, especially the adults! Check out the cute lady in the Beer bottle...great because her last name is Beers!

Looking forward for more Halloween fun....more photos to come!

Sports and Special Moments.....

I can't believe October is almost over and Christmas is less than two months away! But I refuse to think about it even though I'm reminded ever time I enter a store and it smacks me in the face! Anyway,  I just want to think about the fun and the hectic schedule we had for October. And it isn't over yet but here are some photos of what we have been doing!

The boys were only allowed to participate in two sports per season and for the fall season they decided on soccer and cross country running. We have been impressed with their commitment to the practices and games for both sports which meant they only had Thursdays and Sundays off! It may for a hectic week. Thank goodness cross country running is over and we only have two more games left for soccer! I don't think kids truly realizes what their parents would do for their kids to support their interest especially with outdoor sports and crazy weather! Just to show them how much we love them! Here are some special moments captured!

Cross Country Running:

Mya and Blake have a sweet bonding moment while waiting for the boys to race.

Soccer: I love the different faces Nate makes as he plays this sport!

Mya has truly enjoyed attending Preschool and has learned so much. This preschool is great, it prepares them for kindergarten and also teach them cooking and science. Here are some photos of what the 4-5 years old had a special presentation for their grandparents and special guest. We were serves apple muffins that the kids made and made a wreath together.

Here are some photos of Mya's class on a field trip to a Assistant Living Facility to make crafts with the residents.

Halloween is one of my favorite holiday! Can't wait for the craving and decorating the Pumpkins, attending Halloween Parties, trunk and treat, and trick and treats. YIPEE!
