Yellowstone is a place that can't be explore once but many times and it was our second time there. Isaac was being taken to meet his Papa in Dillion, Idaho, so he could spend a week with his grandparents and cousins. We decided since our other two kids wasn't invited, we needed to do something special and YELLOWSTONE was the answer.
Our home away from home. On our first night a Buffalo came to visit the campground and decided to stay for the night. It was several yards away from us...it was pretty cool!
Nathan have fun on these trucksand a course what ever one does the other has to do too.We found out that even the campground that are first come bases was already taken so we have to wait until 7pm to get the handicap. Mya wasn't happy when she almost lost her shoe in the Buffalo Poop.(evident of her shoeprint in the pile.)Glad to be in flesh air after being in a car for 7 hours! The rain didn't stop us for visiting the "Upper Falls"....BEAUTIFUL!Mya and Blake hiking back. The view to this place is AMAZING!!! Had to convince Nathan that climbing this wall was DANGEROUS! Mya had fun throwing rocks over to the river below. My two redhead were great and fearless!None thing better than your 7 years old taking a photo of his parents.Taking a breather about all our walking!
We saw so many amazing animals!
Best part of our trip that there were ton of walkways like this that made the hikes easier.
The geysers and mud pots were AMAZING but the smell was NOT!!!!Mya is on the look out to find Blake and Nathan, who went fly fishing. We went on a small hike and found them. We told them to come back so we can have breakfast and explore the park more.Nathan had a GREAT time learning the ropes from his dad.Nathan was sharing with his little sister all the adventure he had that morning. The view from our campground. Sometime a little girl just needs to hug her dad.Even caterpillars are GREAT! Finally a photo of us four. Enjoying my time with the kiddies.
More animals we saw and were able to capture on film but we saw so many more!Hiking on the trails on Mammoth Hot Springs Terrace and this place is HUGE! We experienced on this trip several weather changes, rain, snow, sleet, winter weather, spring weather and finally summer weather. We had a great time on our adventure in Yellowstone but we were ready to go home and it wasn't the same without Isaac.
