March In Spokane

So March was a fun packed month especially with the visit of my little sister Clelia...we definitely had fun! I'm truly amazed that we have such a close real relationship and I cherish it everyday! I wish the weather was warmer but we made the most of it through her visit.
We played Rock Band.
We played games.
We also got creative and made jewelery...which was a new adventure for both of us.
One our finished products...It was so much fun!
We also had a girl's night out and went to the movies and saw "I am number 4", which was surprisingly good and then went out to eat at Sushi.Com.... My sister introduce me to the Crunchy rolls...YUMMY!!!
So I took the kids out of school early and headed to the park downtown and we had a GRAND TIME!!!
The Red Wagon is the best slide EVER and the SUN was OUT TOO!!!
So here are some photos I took in the park of my kids and my sister.( Okay with some help of Ike, Nate and Clay)

Also in this month...Mya and Nathan did a combine Science project for the Science Fair
Their project was determining which candles burned faster room temperature or frozen.
This is what I did to celebrating St. Patrick Day... did a four clover in Mya's hair.
So Stay Tune for Portrait Photos I did for my sister while she was here visiting...here's a SNEAK PEAK!

Too Much To Do and So Little Time

Last couple of  months has been so busy  for me with school fund raising projects, theme baskets, school concert, school western dance, basketball, church calling, cub scouts, boy scouts, hula, making a earring holding and volunteering,  ...that I been swamped....But here are some photos of some of the  few things that kept us busy.
The School Family Western Dance...we had a good time..I especially had a good time dancing away in the kitchen with two other moms and serving ice cream floats.
This is one the art project that I was in charge of...thank goodness I know a talented friend, who built this for me. I white washed it in blue paint and had the kids  in Isaac's class write their name and a one word description of  themselves...then I burned their words in the wood.
Here is Isaac's class with the garden bench...they were so excited to see their work burned into the wood.
This art project I did for Nathan's class...I had the kids and teacher draw a picture of a favorite spot in Spokane ...then I found a program that let me created this collage after scanning each drawing into my computer.
 The finish project...pretty neat!

I was surprise to see my Isaac rocking away on marimba.

Basketball season was pretty sweet especially since it was indoors and it was just for one child...he had a great season.

Mya decided it was time to do Hula and we been having a great time!
The Scouting program has been a great thing in my boys life and grateful to be part of it.
This the one project that I have been itching to do...a earring holder and I finally did!!!
I also stopped to enjoy the beautiful sunset that Heavenly Father has provide for us.

My Baby Girl

My baby turned 6 last month and I'm blown away that she's that old!!!! She's definitely keeps me on my toes and she reminds me of myself, which is a little scary! I'm eternally grateful for the opportunity of being her mami...She was very fortunate that on her birthday there was no school and she truly had a grand time.

It was so funny that she was so sure that she was getting a DS, which surprise us because we had already gotten one for her the month before and was saving it for her birthday and hoping that she would really enjoy it...which she DID! Opening the presents was so early this year because dad had to go in to work, as you can see him eating his breakfast.
She choose for breakfast, pancakes and fruit...for lunch she had pizza and for her dinner Tacos.
She wanted to go to Chuck  E. Cheese to play and we went and had a good time.
For her cake she want a Black Forest Cheese Cake and it was super YUMMY!!!
So here are the annual birthday photos I took of her and she was a good sport about it.
And this is my favorite...I love her sweet smile.
