November

November was a whirlwind and I'm finally getting it blogged. In March, I won a photography basket at the kids' school that included a free photo shoot and I decided to use it to  get our family photos and  Christmas cards. Here are some of the photos she did for us.
She got a couple of us being silly and the photo below is classically what Isaac does to his sister
I love this photo below of my sweet family

The photos below are typically what occurs when I took photos of my kids

Finally after telling them to shape up, this was the result

We had a yummy Thanksgiving Puerto Rican Style

and  afterward went with my good friend  Ronae and her cousin Hannah midnight shopping on Black Friday and had a long day and with tradition it's time to set the Christmas tree up and decorate for December.

Summer Fun

So now I'm playing catch up...so I'm going to share what we did this summer and somehow get the best ones out of almost a 1000 photos for those two months....how the heck did I do that?! So let's begin with July. July was a very busy month for us especially me. We had our first annual family reunion on my maternal side at the beginning of the month which I have already posted. After we left Yellowstone we took our niece and nephew home with us. We had a good time and here are some photos of their visit.

I also served at Girl's Camp with the 4th years and had a blast but it was a week away from my family. After I had rehearsals for "Moroni Quest" that I was acting in...don't have any photos yet...hoping that the stake will supply our ward with that as soon as possible. I did decide that I needed a updated photo of Blake and I. On one Sunday, I set up my camera on a tripod and took a couple but this is my favorite.

We were able to squeeze in a trip to Bear Lake with the Loke family and had a good time.

In August...we had several camping trips. First one we went was in Coeur d'Alene but half way to camp this happened
After Blake had an opportunity to teach the boys how to change a tire...we headed to our campground and had a great time.
In August several things happen...I broke my small toe which was VERY PAINFUL!!!! We also headed to another camping trip and we headed to Kelly Creek in Idaho....it's in the middle of nowhere but it was simply BEAUTIFUL.
This was a beautiful hike but we cut it short to go on another hike that was definitely an ADVENTURE!!!
So Blake decided that we should take a shortcut to the river which was NUTS!!! We ended up climbing down which is bad enough but it was worst for me because of my broken toe, MAJOR PAIN!!! I was so glad to see the river that my toe actually wept with joy...I just put my foot in the river for an instant ice pack...soon we so realized that we had to travel through the river to get to the trail again and here are some photos of that adventure.
Soon the kids realize that there was garden snakes and Mya was the first to claim a pet...towards the end I had to tell the kids that we weren't taking them home with us...just with Mya, she had three that she was carrying.

While the kids were hunting for snakes, Blake was fishing.
We truly enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and roasting marshmallows
The next day the kids and I enjoyed the sights and taking the dog for a long walk, while Blake went fishing.

We decided for our last family vacation that we would head back to Seattle and San Juan Island but this time without the dog. We headed to Seattle first and spend the day exploring downtown and had a yummy lunch at Beecher's ...their Mac and Cheese is Delish!!!
The next day we headed to Anacortes to get the ferry to take us to San Juan Island. As we waiting to board the ferry, we headed to the beach.
Afterwards we headed to the ferry.
We were so excited to be back on San Juan Island and the views are breathtaking

So I want you to notice the reason I took this photo of Isaac because of his eyelashes....can anyone see what I see... the silly boy cut them!!!!
The sunset at our campground were truly a piece of art.

Next morning we charter a boat to go Salmon Fishing.  Blake had a grand time and the kids did at first but a five hour boat ride is way too long with kids...and we had some that got seasick!
Blake decided that he was going to snorkel in the freezing water and he did
After he warm himself up,  we headed to the other side of the island to see the sculpture park.

Behold we did see some whales!

The beauty of the island is truly is AMAZING!!!
You just couldn't asks for anything else especially when you woke up to this view.

On our last day we just enjoyed eating our breakfast to the great view.
Two months down and one more to go!!! And in September we had major milestones that occurred in our family.
