Piece of Paradise Part 4...Kakela Beach

This was the view that we saw every morning from our beach rental and it was BREATHTAKING!!! The first morning the boys and I woke up early and headed to the beach.

We found a swing and we had to take a ride.

Running and strolling on the beach was our favorite things to do.

Blake and Mya woke up and joined us on the beach and we explored the reef.

We also saw some fish in these puddles on the reef is was AWESOME! 

We had a great time exploring the beach and enjoying the creatures we encounter.

 

 

 

 

 

Mya got caught up playing in the sand that she didn't realize that Dad and the boys had left her and off she goes to catch up.

We came across this statues guarding the entrance of this home...AMAZING

The scenery was a MASTERPIECE of our Heavenly Father.

Piece of Paradise Part 3

Our last morning in Waikiki and made the most of it! The time difference was a killer not only on the kids but on the adults too. Here are some photos at our hotel room.

First stop: Showing Blake the Birds at the resort

 

Second Stop: The Beach....Blake haven't been to the beach because he was busy with work but now he's done and we can play tourist.

Third stop: North Shore...We stopped along the way at a park next to the beach and had fun swinging on the swings.

 Blake had to check the water and was rewarded with seeing a Honu but then it swam away.

We had to take some photos of the native birds of Hawaii

Fourth Stop: Turtle Beach and we were very fortunate to see a Honu beached on the beach...SUPER AWESOME!

Piece of Paradise Part 2

We stayed for two nights at Waikiki Hilton, while Blake did his presentation and we had a blast.

We woke up this this AMAZING view!

We decide to explore Waikiki...all the years living in Hawaii we never really did the tourist thing and these of some of the sights we encountered. 

 First stop: seeing the Koi Fish

Second stop: Fort DeRussy

Third Stop: Walking the streets of Waikiki

Fourth Stop: The Villages in the Hilton

We saw some many wildlife and BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!

Last Stop: THE BEACH!!!!

 The kids couldn't wait to jump in the water!

They had such a BLAST in the warm WATER!

They also had a great time playing in the SAND!

 Enjoying the WARM SUN!!!!

You can't leave the beach unless you have built a sandcastle with a moat!!!!
