Things We Love About Halloween Holidays!

Halloween is one of my favorite holiday especially when you have kids. All the fun activities to be done before the big day are so much fun. These are some of our favorite things to do!
  • Going to a Pumpkin patch.
Actually here there are many and they are all together in a big farms community loop. So, we were able to visit at least 5 of them. It was such a beautiful farm day and it is a great activity to do on Family Home Evening.
This gentlemen greeted us as we enter the farming community.

And they're off to see who can get their head in the hole first.
Isaac decide he needed to use the outhouse with a big smile on his face.
My two little farmers.
What a crime that we have to smell their stinky feet!

On the search for the perfect pumpkin

Our Mischievous little girl.
Enter the corn maze in search for the big pumpkin.

Jackpot, pumpkin galore
Isaac found his pumpkin.
My silly boys!
My sweet kids!
On our way to discover that the pumpkin Isaac picked was 32pound at 35 cent a pound. You do the math! After that we decided we had helped the farming community and would buy the other kids their pumpkins at Albertsons!

  • Carving and painting Pumpkins:

Carving pumpkin is a messy job!
Lucky for us, Mya decided she wanted to paint and insert the funny eyes and ears in her mini pumpkin.
Then she decided she rather have these eyes.
We also helped each others with the designing and carving of our pumpkins.
So much fun!

  • Truck or Treats:
Are so much fun and we had a combination of two wards at this activity.
Getting ready for our fun!
Mya our pretty princess.
My fierce boys.
They had so much fun and came home with ton of candy.

  • Halloween Parties:
I volunteered at Isaac's class for their party and we made so many neat stuff.
Isaac's class was so much fun to play with.
Mya also enjoyed herself at the party.
I sneaked to Nate's class was able to snap this photo.

  • Jack-a-lantern Pizza- a yummy meal to have on Halloween Night.
  • Treat or Treating on Halloween Night!Excited for the night to begin!
Racing to the door.
Trick or Treat!

Tagged!

I decided to take Becca up on her tag and also give it a WHIRL! So the tag states, that you needed to go to the fourth photo in the fourth folder. Well, I went and opened my picture folder and discovered that I have weird folders in there and I need to clean out! So, image my surprise that this photo was the contender...Our Wedding Photo taken at Bountiful Temple grounds. It's funny to think you haven't age much and then you see your wedding picture from 11 1/2 years ago and realize you DEFINITELY have! So, I tagging Chrystie, Kirstin, Clay, Mollee, Shauna, Jessica and anyone else who wants to give it a Whirl!

Say It Isn't So....

My first born just celebrated his 9th Birthday lasted Tuesday and I feel happy and a little sad. I can't believe my baby is 9! Where did the time go? The time is flying too fast for my liking. I kinda want to slow down the time and enjoy every minute I have with him and my other children. I know it isn't realist but I wish I could because I know that I haven't cherish every minute as I should have. I guess we all have regrets as parents and I know I'm not perfect, but he will always know that I love him with all my heart. That I will always be there for him and no matter what he does in his life. That he will always be my child.

He was the first to call me mom.
He was the first to melt my heart.
He was the first to open my eyes and discover the wonders of the world by looking at it through his eyes.

I will always cherish every memories I have and those to come because I been blessed to be his mother.

Mya's 1st Bike!

After many request for her own bike, we finally brought her one. She decided she really wanted a Disney Princess Bike and we were able to find one on Craigs list. She just loves this bike especially the doll carrier. She told us it was Snow White's chair and it was.
It took of a couple of minutes to figure out the pedals but once she did she was cruisin'.

She so cute with her doll riding the bike.
Our silly girl finally has a bike like her brothers and she's so happy!

We're Hitting The Books Again!

So a new school year has just started on Tuesday 2nd and my kids were so EXCITED!
He was awake about 4:30a.m and telling me he couldn't sleep. I told him it's too early and go back to sleep.
He's entering the 3rd grade and has the advantage of two teachers that teaches his class. Ms. Wolfley and Ms. Current. One teach on Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday and the other teaches on Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays. I have heard all positive things about these teachers and been told that he's lucky to be in this class. Well, he loves it and that what matters.
He was also up early but not as early as Isaac but at 6:30a.m!
Nathan's is in the 1st grade and has Ms. Yonago as his teacher. I also been told that she is one of the top teacher in the school and very lucky that Nathan has her.
So the school is a couple of blocks away from our house and the boys have been begging to ride their bikes. I said they could ride their bikes to school on their own if they prove to us that they could follow the safety rules, as of yet we been either riding or walking with them. They don't seem to mind and it's great exercise for us. Here is Nathan riding home.

Isaac is actually following the rule the school has to walk your bike on the sidewalk in front of the school.
Nathan get the green light to ride his bike and he's off
and Isaac isn't too far behind.
At least I know they will wait for each others.
But they left us in the dust and Mya and I were running to catch up
But they were too fast for us.
She wanted to know where was her bike! (good question!)
So you know there isn't any sidewalks in our neighborhood and we have to walk in the street.
The boys came back for us and let Mya walk with them to the house. Don't look in the messy garage! We are piling up the boxes on one side of the garage until we take it to the recycle center.
