Our Move To Washington!

It has be a month since we have moved to Washington and we have been really busy. We drove from Utah to Washington and thought we needed two days to make the trip and it turn out it took just 9 hours with two stops along the way. Washington is really beautiful and the neighbors have been really kind. It's very quiet in this neighborhood and it's strange for us because when we lived in Hawaii, we lived near the highway. So, you can image the noise! We slept at night with earplugs! But I have to confess, I truly miss Hawaii more than I thought I would. I didn't think I would get so homesick from a place we lived for only 2 years.

Anyway, many have requested photos of our new dig and here it is......
It a lovely home that needs some remodeling, which we are in the middle of doing! Already the roof was replaced as of today! HOORAY! Right now, we are living downstairs as we redo the upstairs. I would post soon the before and after photos, once we are done. The backyard is a big perk that we enjoy as much as we can.
We also did enjoyed some of the sights here in Washington between our trips to Lowes, Home Depot, Costco, and Walmart and here are a few...

This river runs in the middle of downtown
Had to get a shot with the kids on the bridge over looking that river
Mya asked for her photo to be taken and this is the pose she gave me
When we first visited Washington, I took a photo of me sliding down this slide and I promise the kids they could go there. Here Isaac taking the first plunge down the wagon.
Nate had a blast playing on this wagon.
Mya wasn't so sure about going down this slide that Blake climbed up and try to convince her to go down.
So, Nathan wanted someone to go with him and get wet in the fountain in the park and was trying to convince dad to go with him.
Nathan finally decided he didn't need dad to get wet,
so he ran and got BLASTED.
Isaac decided that he would join Nathan in the fun.
I just love his expression.

Mya decided she didn't want to get wet except for her hands.

We also visited the water park down the road of house. It was a bit chilly but the water was warm.
I love his expression of pure joy!
He finally let me take this photo after I promise that this was the only one I was taking of him.

We are all adjusting to Washington's crazy weather. It decided to cut summer short in the middle of August. We started to have 40's degrees in the morning and slowing heats up maybe in the mid-60's and sometime in the 70's. That was the hardest adjustment to make and it's still hard.
Beside the weather it has been an adventure and we look forward to what the future will bring.

The View

This is what I see most of the time when I run on this beach...

How LUCKY I was to be able to run on a piece of PARADISE.
