12 1/2 miles...WHAT?!

12 1/2 miles is what we rode on our bikes on this awesome trail. My friend Melissa had wanted to go biking on this trail even since she arrived to Washington and the beginning of the summer she asked my friend Rachel and I if we would go with her....the early morn of the last day of August we packed our bikes, trailers, waters, lunches and kids and headed to Hiawatha Trail.  Which is located on the state line of Idaho and Montana...it's truly beautiful...it took us 4 1/2 hours but it was so AWESOME!!!! We rode through 8 tunnels and 7 trestles...we certainly had a BLAST.
I rented a tag-along for Mya and she did great!!!

The weather was Perfect for our ADVENTURE!!!
My friend Rachel and her kids.
My friend Melissa and her twins.
Getting our lights ready to go through our first tunnel.
Truly GRAND!!!
We can already see the first trestle we're going to ride on...WOW!!!
Riding on these trestles was so great and amazing.
The view was simply BEAUTIFUL!!!
We saw so many birds, chipmunks and a DOE!
Good thing none of us were scared of HEIGHTS!!!
Having Mya on a tag-along attached to my bike was definitely an adventure especially when she would rocked her bike and threw my balance off.
Playing catch up with each other was FUN!!!

The scenery was truly BREATHTAKING!!!!
The time we had to spend with each other was PRICELESS!!!
At the end the trail...you can take a bus, that carried your gears and bikes back to your cars....LIFESAVER!!!
Did you count how much kids were on this ADVENTURE?....that's SEVEN!!!!
Our bus trip was very exciting for the kids!!!!
We took upon us this adventure that took almost 11hours with just three women and 7 kids...and we enjoyed every minute of it!!!! Thank you Melissa for planning this adventure that you shared with us...thank you ladies for being such amazing women, mothers, wives and my friend!!!!

She Spread Her Wings And.......

Mya decided it was time to learn to ride her bike without training wheels...so our adventure begins!
We started with Blake helping her along....

and teaching her how to balance on her bike.
She's doing it!!!
 She's doing it!!!!

CRASH! Oops, she noticed daddy wasn't holding the bike!

Daddy is helping her again.
She felt sure of herself when she felt dad's hands on her.

Time to let go and.....

 She RODE and...

and RODE....
and she DID IT!!!!!

July With Family And Friends

So this post is way over due...we went to Utah for my sister's wedding in July but also spend time with family and friends. We basically had a family reunion with both of our side of our families and it was a BLAST.

For the Pioneer Day we spend it with my side of the family at Pinewood and then had game night.

We also spend time with Blake's side of the family, we all had a great time at the pool!

We especially enjoyed just hanging out with each other.

Sometimes the thing that is so much fun is in your grandma's front yard.

Spending time with love ones is definitely the best.

We were also able to witness my sister's NEWEST member joining her family...her hubby wedding gift to her...MAGGIE!!!!
We did have a hiccup on our trip...our sweet dog Bean ran away and was gone for 24 hours. We received a call from the kind person who found him in their parent's yard...He was scratched up and his paws were burned raw for the hot asphalt...he was definitely pitiful but we were so glad he was found and returned back to us!
We were able to show my friend Subie Salt Lake City and it's beauty.

Spending time with family and friends is always REWARDING!
