Farewell My Friend Until We See You Again!

Summer was here such a short time, about five weeks but we did enjoy it while it lasted! Here are some of our adventures we took before school started...first stop was to Medical Lake for some fishing on our canoe.
My cute kids getting ready for their canoe ride but first, photos shoot.

As my family were fishing on the canoe(too much of a coward to get on it with my kids...worried that I trip the canoe and my kids would fall in!) Anyway, I kept myself busy taking pictures of the beauty of nature!

The photos of the bee was a challenge but I had fun taking the photos.I was very fortunate to capture these beautiful birds on film, on top is a young golden eagle, then a male Brewer's Blackbird and below is the female Brewer's Blackbird and last is a ofspray.
This was the beautiful lake that my family was fishing on. So I have developed a fascination was the beautiful cloud formations that I have seen in the skies in Washington and it was especially beautiful on this day. Here are some of my favorites.

So enough of my fascination, here are some more photos of Mya's newest fascination.
She even got Nathan to play with her...I never thought a game that I played as a kid, would have such a fascination with my little girl.

Our another adventure was a family hike with our dog. It was truly a beautiful place...and I'm so glad that it's near by...we'll definitely go back again, so we can finally find the pond!

Another milestone that occurred was Isaac receiving his arrow of life and moving on to Scouts. My first born is growing up too darn fast! Stay tune for back to school photos!

12 1/2 miles...WHAT?!

12 1/2 miles is what we rode on our bikes on this awesome trail. My friend Melissa had wanted to go biking on this trail even since she arrived to Washington and the beginning of the summer she asked my friend Rachel and I if we would go with her....the early morn of the last day of August we packed our bikes, trailers, waters, lunches and kids and headed to Hiawatha Trail.  Which is located on the state line of Idaho and Montana...it's truly beautiful...it took us 4 1/2 hours but it was so AWESOME!!!! We rode through 8 tunnels and 7 trestles...we certainly had a BLAST.
I rented a tag-along for Mya and she did great!!!

The weather was Perfect for our ADVENTURE!!!
My friend Rachel and her kids.
My friend Melissa and her twins.
Getting our lights ready to go through our first tunnel.
Truly GRAND!!!
We can already see the first trestle we're going to ride on...WOW!!!
Riding on these trestles was so great and amazing.
The view was simply BEAUTIFUL!!!
We saw so many birds, chipmunks and a DOE!
Good thing none of us were scared of HEIGHTS!!!
Having Mya on a tag-along attached to my bike was definitely an adventure especially when she would rocked her bike and threw my balance off.
Playing catch up with each other was FUN!!!

The scenery was truly BREATHTAKING!!!!
The time we had to spend with each other was PRICELESS!!!
At the end the trail...you can take a bus, that carried your gears and bikes back to your cars....LIFESAVER!!!
Did you count how much kids were on this ADVENTURE?....that's SEVEN!!!!
Our bus trip was very exciting for the kids!!!!
We took upon us this adventure that took almost 11hours with just three women and 7 kids...and we enjoyed every minute of it!!!! Thank you Melissa for planning this adventure that you shared with us...thank you ladies for being such amazing women, mothers, wives and my friend!!!!

She Spread Her Wings And.......

Mya decided it was time to learn to ride her bike without training wheels...so our adventure begins!
We started with Blake helping her along....

and teaching her how to balance on her bike.
She's doing it!!!
 She's doing it!!!!

CRASH! Oops, she noticed daddy wasn't holding the bike!

Daddy is helping her again.
She felt sure of herself when she felt dad's hands on her.

Time to let go and.....

 She RODE and...

and RODE....
and she DID IT!!!!!
